DJ Mekdot invited me to play a 1 hour set following DJ Quinn Bee in August 2023 at Bunton’s World Famous - a black owned bar in Bushwick known for packed dancefloors, a sexy local crowd, and straight-up vibesss. We plugged into Mek’s DDJ-REV 7 and got to work. I played a mix of hip hop, afrobeats, and dancehall turn-ups. It was so much fun. And my whole crew showed up to get down on the dancefloor.
